SEYPEC Poster Competition Prize Giving Ceremony
As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, SEYPEC hosted a nationwide Poster Competition open to all Primary 2 to Primary 6 students across Seychelles. The initiative aimed to spark creativity and deepen understanding of the vital role of energy in Seychelles, under the theme "Powering Seychelles with Energy and Care”.
A total of 133 entries were received from 10 schools, and after a careful review by a panel of judges — including two talented art teachers from the School of the Exceptional Child and SEYPEC representatives — 12 winning posters were selected, with each winner receiving a brand-new tablet as a token of appreciation. The outstanding entries will be featured in the official SEYPEC 2026 Calendar.
The prize-giving event, held at the National Library Exhibition Hall, featured remarks from the Minister of Education, Dr. Justin Valentin, and SEYPEC’s CEO, followed by a showcase of selected artworks.
A big thank you to all the students, teachers, and schools who participated and helped make this celebration of art, energy, and education a true success.
